The common area in the hostel was really cool with a large TV and comfy bean bags to relax on. I also liked that breakfast was included and they even gave us something to take with us when we checked out early. the hostel is located close to a BTS station, which made it easy to get around the city.

The staff at the hostel were not very friendly or helpful. They spent most of their time on their phones and didn't seem interested in making the guests feel welcome.

The included breakfast of pork and rice was delicious and gave me a great start to my day. I also appreciated that the area around the hostel allowed me to experience the true essence of Bangkok, with street food options and a safe environment. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the bus to the DM airport.

Drawbacks: The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the lack of space for luggage in the 6-bed dorm. However, as I was either alone or with only one other person during my stay, it didn't affect me too much.

I can't say enough about the outstanding staff at Kloem! Our host, Pola, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She even took us to a temple we hadn't visited before and helped me with my kids. the decor was cute, the beds were comfy, and everything was super clean. the location was great, giving us a glimpse of local areas in Bangkok while still being within walking distance of Siam Discovery Mall. the hostel even had a Thai Boxing rink nearby, which was a fun experience for the kids. I also appreciated the no smoking policy and the friendly staff. the atmosphere was cozy, with a nice common area and spotless bathrooms. it felt like home away from home. Cons: Not one thing 🚫.

I chose Kloem Hostel specifically because it was conveniently located near the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, two places I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access. This feature allowed me to stay connected and plan my day easily.
